With Thanksgiving right around the corner, you might be having dreams of pumpkin pie topped with whipped cream! What if we told you that you could have all of those delicious flavors without the guilt, and have it for a snack?!?
Our pumpkin bars taste just like that beloved Thanksgiving dessert, only healthy!
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Servings: 10 bars
INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 c. almond flour

2 scoops Propello Life Vegan Protein Spiced Vanilla (or Whey Protein)

1/2 c. natural peanut butter

1 Tbsp Pumpkin Powder

1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
-
1/4 tsp sea salt
-
1/2 c. maple syrup
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
White baking morsels (for the drizzle topping)
DIRECTIONS

Line an 8x8" glass pan with parchment paper

Mix almond flour, protein powder, pumpkin powder, pumpkin pie spice and salt in a large bowl

In a smaller bowl, mix together peanut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract

Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients, and mix. The best way to mix all of this is with your hands - the best tools in the kitchen!

Pour mixture into glass dish, and use your hands to FIRMLY press mixture down

Place in refrigerator or freezer for 30 min. or until firm.

While the bars are cooling, make a double broiler by heating up some water in a pot, placing a glass bowl on top and boiling the water.

Place the white baking morsels in the glass bowl with a little bit of coconut oil. Melt the morsels and stir to avoid burning.

Take bars out and cut into two rows of five bars.

Then drizzle on the white baking morsel topping
